Animal Assisted Psychotherapy
I’m proud to offer animal-assisted therapy as part of my private practice, with the support of my loyal co-therapist, Babe—a gentle and intuitive 10-year-old German Shepherd. Babe has been certified as an animal-assisted psychotherapy companion and has experience supporting patients with mood disorders, personality disorders, and severe mental illness.
With his calm temperament and deeply attuned nature, Babe brings a grounding presence to sessions. He often greets clients at the door with quiet enthusiasm and enjoys sitting alongside them during sessions—offering a comforting sense of connection, warmth, and emotional regulation through physical presence and sensory input.
Animal-assisted therapy can be a powerful complement to traditional talk therapy, particularly for clients who find healing through connection, touch, and nonverbal emotional support. Babe has worked with me in private practice for over a year and continues to bring comfort, compassion, and companionship to those navigating life’s challenges.
There is no additional fee for including Babe in your therapy sessions—just let me know if you’d like him to join us.

The best therapist has fur and four legs.
