Specialized Treatment

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

KAP is designed for individuals who have not found relief through traditional talk therapy or medication alone. It can be particularly helpful for treatment-resistant symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Sessions involve the use of ketamine lozenges, administered in a safe and supportive setting. Each dosing session lasts approximately three hours, with integration sessions offered in between to help process insights and experiences.

Clients must first complete a comprehensive intake assessment to determine eligibility. This includes screening for medical and psychological readiness and ruling out any current substance use issues. A collaborating psychiatrist will be brought on board to support medication management and ensure medical safety throughout the course of treatment.

Treatment typically involves 6 to 15 sessions, tailored to each person’s needs. I charge $300 per hour (three-hour minimum per dosing session), and I currently accept cash payment only. While I do not accept insurance for KAP, a limited number of sliding scale slots may be available.

For those who feel comforted by the presence of animals, I also offer the option of animal-assisted support during sessions—at no additional cost.
